Where to Find Mending Machines in Fortnite

Need some more healing supplies? Purchase them on the go at Mending Machines.

Besides the special vending machines in Fortnite, like the Midas Vending Machines, there are also regular ones scattered around. Some of the most helpful vending machines are the Mending Machines, which give healing items. Here’s where to find some.

All Mending Machine Locations in Fortnite

Mending Machines can be found anywhere vending spots usually occur. They are most commonly found in named locations and at gas stations. You can interact with them to dispense various items geared toward restoring your health or giving you a shield. Here are some spots where you can find them:

  • Named Locations:
    • Pleasant Piazza
    • Snooty Steppes
    • Fencing Fields
    • Lavish Lair
    • Restored Reels
    • Reckless Railways x2
    • Classy Courts
    • Grand Glacier
  • Gas Stations and Landmarks:
    • North of Snooty Steppes
    • Northwest of Snooty Steppes
    • South of Fencing Fields
    • East of The Underworld
    • Northwest of Rebel’s Roost
    • North Rebels Roost
    • West of Lavish Lair
    • Southeast of Lavish Lair
    • East of Restored Reels
    • East of Brawler’s Battleground
    • West of Classy Courts
    • Northwest of Classy Courts
    • Northeast of Classy Courts
    • East of Classy Courts
    • North of Grand Glacier
    • Southeast of Reckless Railways
    • South of Reckless Railways

Only some of these locations will have Mending Machines since they can occasionally be Weapon-O-Matic vending machines instead. I found them less often during Season 2 of Chapter 5, but these are the spots where you’ll find them spawn if they do. I find them more often at the gas station spots.

You can find Medkits, Bandages, and Chug Splashes in the Mending Machine. However, they won’t be available for free. If you’re planning on using a Mending Machine to get healing, you’ll need to come with some Gold Bars to spare. Interacting with the Mending Machine will allow you to choose the item you want in exchange for Gold Bars. Most of them will cost 150 Gold Bars each.

How to Get Gold Bars

If you don’t have Gold Bars on you, you can usually find some in spots near the vending machine location. The spot where I find them most often is in Cash Registers.

Hold X, Square, or E on the Cash Register to drop some Gold Bars from it. However, if you can’t find any cash registers near you, you can also search chests or even ammo boxes to get a few. Or, of course, hunt down the nearest player and defeat them to steal theirs.

Mending Machines are great ways to heal up if you run out of healing items on your trek away from the storm. As long as you have enough Gold Bars saved up, you’ll be all set.
