Spending boss Remembrances at the Finger Reader in the Roundtable Hold is the only way to access that boss’s weapons and spells. In the base game of Elden Ring, the Wandering Mausoleums let you duplicate one Remembrance per each of the seven, and in Shadow of the Erdtree, there are now Remembrance duplication coffins. Here’s where to find them all.
Location of All Remembrance Duplication Coffins in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
I’ve managed to find 3 Remembrance duplication coffins in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, and there are 10 Remembrances to collect in total. That means you can have a maximum of 13 boss weapons and abilities on a character per New Game cycle. What’s nice is, if you haven’t used up all your Wandering Mausoleums in the Lands Between, you can use them to duplicate Shadow of the Erdtree Remembrances.
The three Remembrance duplication coffins are scattered throughout the Realm of Shadow, with one in the southern regions, one in the north, and one in the central zone of Scadu Altus.
Scadu Altus Remembrance Duplication Coffin Location
The easiest of the three to discover, the Remembrance duplication coffin in the Scadu Altus is “hidden” only in the sense that it’s off the beaten path. It’s located in the small lake that surrounds the Church of Manus Metyr, just south of the structure.
Getting to Manus Metyr is the trickier bit. You need to travel through a small opening on the east side of the Moorth Ruins and through Bonny Village, then east of the village, then north and around on the path to the church. Make sure you speak to Count Ymir and Jolan inside, then head around back to the water just south of the structure to find the coffin sitting idly among flowers.
Cerulean Coast Remembrance Duplication Coffin Location
The second Remembrance duplication coffin is technically on the Cerulean Coast, but more accurately, it is on a hill overlooking the Finger Ruins of Rhia. So, in actual fact, the coffin is in the middle space between the Coast and the Jagged Peak.
Anyway, the easiest way to reach the coffin is to start at the Cerulean Coast Cross Site of Grace, directly south of the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace and the Southern Shore map fragment. From the Cross, head east along the coast until you reach a very large coffin-like structure. No, this first bit isn’t the coffin you want. Instead, walk or ride Torrent up the larger coffin and drop down to the right. You’ll come across the Finger Ruins of Rhia Site of Grace, but rather than going down into the ruins, continue east.
When the path splits to go down or continue on the same level, stay on the same level. The coffin is near the edge of the cliff overlooking the ruins, but it’s also surrounded by the finger enemies, so unless you stealth, you’ll need to kill them all to safely dupe your Remembrance.
Hinterland Remembrance Duplication Coffin Location
The third and final Remembrance duplication coffin I’ve found is in the Hinterland, which you can only access by getting the O Mother gesture and using the Church District to get to the northern section of the Shadow Keep. Use the gesture in front of the statue of Marika just before the Commander Gaius boss fight, then head into the Hinterland.
Go past the bridge and the two Tree Sentinels and continue east until you’re just starting to have stony fingers rise out of the ground. Once they do, head north. You should start to have a lot of mist roll in, but continue north until you almost reach the cliffside. You’ll see a bunch of big and small crawling hand enemies wandering about, with the coffin itself near the cliffside.
Those are the locations of all the Remembrance duplication coffins I’ve managed to find in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. They’re as valuable a resource as ever, more so if you’ve already used up all the Wandering Mausoleums in the base game. Use them wisely.
