Campfires are a great way to get some heals on the go in Fortnite. It’s good to know where you can find them, not only for your survival but also to complete some Avatar quests and earn some Chakras toward your Appa Glider. Here are all their locations and how to light them.
All Campfire Locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
There are a limited number of campfire spots scattered around the map, and they are all outside of named locations. Most often, you’ll find them at random camping spots on the island’s outskirts. The best place to land to get to them is the secluded Rebel’s Roost POI.
Unfortunately, because these campfires are in such desolate locations, they can be more challenging to find. We have you covered, though! Here’s where you can find all the campfires on the map right now:
- East of Rebel’s Roost
- Northeast of Rebel’s Roost
- North of Lavish Lair
- East of Restored Reels
- North of Restored Reels
- Southwest of Pleasant Piazza
- East of Classy Courts
- South of Classy Courts
If you’re working on completing your Avatar quests, I suggest going to the Elemental Shrine near Snooty Steppes to pick up your Firebending scroll and then heading to the campfire just below Pleasant Piazza. Another great option is the one in the middle of the old Loot Lake since there is also an Earth Shrine right there as well.
How to Light a Campfire in Fortnite
Once you land at that spot, approach the campfire and hold X, Square, or E on it to activate it. It will stay lit briefly and heal you as long as you stand beside it. In build modes, relighting the fire will cost you some wood. If someone has already worn it out, you can always head to other nearest campfire to complete your quest or get some healing.
Not only does lighting a fire help you progress toward your Fire Chakra, but it’s just a great way to stay in full health as you progress toward that Victory Royale, especially if you don’t have any other healing items on you.
