WoW Dragonflight: How to Get the Moth-Pilfered Pouch

How to get the Moth-Pilfered Pouch in WoW: Dragonflight requires you to help a creature in need first.

Figuring out how to get the Moth-Pilfered Pouch in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight might be a source of frustration since it appears on the minimap, but there aren’t clear hints as to how to actually find this treasure.

How to Get the Moth-Pilfered Pouch in WoW: Dragonflight

North of Loamm, the icon for the Moth-Pilfered Pouch will pop up on your minimap. I spent more time than I’m willing to admit running in circles and trying to find an item on the ground that didn’t exist.

So, you’ll actually want to look for a Struggling Mothling in the same area rather than look for a pouch on the ground. These mothlings are having trouble learning to fly, but if you stand close enough to be considered underneath the mothling, you’ll bounce it up. Now, you don’t want to let it land until you’ve bounced it five times in a row.

The positioning isn’t exact, and it still counted as a bounce even when I wasn’t perfectly under the mothling. If you’ve done the torch catching game during the Midsummer Fire Festival, bouncing the Struggling Mothling follows the exact same idea. Stand in its shadow while it’s falling and successfully bounce it five times in a row, and you’ll have officially helped the mothling learn to fly.

As a token of gratitude, the Struggling Mothling will fly to the treasure icon location on the minimap and leave a Moth-Pilfered Pouch on the ground for you to open.
