How to Upgrade Weapons and Echoes Fast in Wuthering Waves

The main way to level up gear and Echoes fast is by doing World Boss challenges, Simulation Training, and Daily Activities and Quests. This is how you get Weapon and Echo EXP consumables, besides buying them from the Convene exchange shop, which you can then use to level up your weapons and Echoes. That said, you cannot do this indefinitely as Weapons and Echoes need to be ascended at Level 20, 40, etc.

For weapon and Echo ascension, you need specific materials, which you can buy from Uncle Wei next to the Weapon Crafting station. For higher-level ascensions, you’ll need to defeat World Bosses and get their specific upgrade materials. I would suggest checking what material your weapon or Echo needs for ascension and then looking for a World Boss that drops that item. Note that you’ll need 60 Waveplates to claim boss rewards, but they regenerate up to 240 each day. This means that you can essentially do four World Bosses in a day if you don’t have some Waveplate refills from consumables.

As for Echoes, you can also tune them to reroll stats or add new ones in the Tuning menu using Tuning materials. Essentially, Wuthering Waves, similar to Genshin Impact, has a limited amount of weapon and Echo upgrade resources you can get in a day. That’s why it’s crucial to come back each day and do Daily Quests, World Bosses, and Activities, as well as other Milestones and rank up your Battle Pass (Pioneer Podcast).
