I find the MP7 to undoubtedly be the best SMG in the Xdefiant Beta, providing you with a high fire rate and good control. Personally, I believe it to be the most fun weapon to use in the game. The gun’s default stats are great from the get-go, but they can be made even better if you apply certain attachments that push this weapon to a whole new level. Below, I will go over the best MP7 build currently in XDefiant.

Best MP7 Build in the XDefiant Beta
Each weapon in Xdefiant can be improved with a number of additional attachments, and the MP7 is no exception. You don’t have to apply them all, and often less is more, but in case you really want to squeeze everything out of this fantastic gun, then here’s what we suggest.
Best Barrel: Chrome-Lined
Th Chrome-Lined Barrel attachment provides increased damage and range to your weapon, pushing the short-range and mid-range reach of MP7 by another 20%. This means that your overall bullet reach will be increased from 17 meters to 26 meters, which is quite significant.
SMGs are infamous for having short range, but this barrel will fix that problem in an instant. Though your overall speed will be reduced by 5%, which is almost unnoticeable in my opinion.
Best Front Rail: Handstop
If you want your weapon to be more accurate, then you need the Handstop Front Rail attachment that increases your aim stability by 15% and your vertical recoil by 5%. This is important as it stabilizes your gun significantly, making it easier to target enemies.
You can give the MP7 an additional optics attachment to push the accuracy even further if you find it useful for your specific build, but the default iron sight seems to be working perfectly well on its own.
Best Magazine: Fast Mag
The Fast Mag Magazine doesn’t really increase your ammo by much (+5), but what it really improves is your reload speed, which is increased by a whopping 50%, and that’s more important in such a fast-paced game like XDefiant than the number of bullets.
Best Rear Grip: Lightweight
Here’s another tool that will make your MP7 even more stable with the huge 25% increase in recoil recovery. You’ll also notice that your aim is better while walking by 2.5%, which isn’t much but definitely noticeable.
Alternatively, you could improve your hip fire while sprinting with the Quick Draw rear grip, but it hits your aim stability too much, which isn’t a good thing.
Best Stock: Collapsed
You’ll want your stock to provide a tighter bullet spread so that you hit exactly where you aim, and this attachment improves both your minimum and maximum spread by 10%.
On top of that, Collapsed increases your speed by another 7%, which is very much needed, and there are absolutely no penalties on this stock either.
Best Muzzle: Lightweight Suppressor
Although a suppressor is great to have to stay as stealthy as possible, there’s definitely a huge penalty on your range, which isn’t recommended, especially if you want to use the Chrome-Lined barrel.
So it would be best to simply not use any muzzle for this build as it focuses on speed, accuracy, and stability, which is more important than being unnoticed. But if you find a stealthy approach necessary, then go ahead and use the lightweight suppressor.
That’s it for the best MP7 build in XDefiant Beta. Stay tuned for more Xdefiant tips and tricks articles right here.
