Igoshon Shrine Location

The Igoshon Shrine can be found in the floating islands area just prior to reaching the Water Temple in Lanayru Sky Archipelago. It’s almost impossible to miss this area, as you’ll be heading to the location as part of the main quest in the region.

Even if you don’t solve this puzzle during the main quest, you can still return, since the Igoshon Shrine will become a fast travel point as long as you interact with its glyph.

TotK Igoshon Shrine Orbs of Water Puzzle Walkthrough

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Orbs of Water puzzle for the Igoshon Shrine relies on a core mechanic seen in the region. That means you’ll go inside the water bubbles, which are slowly rising, just to reach new areas. Low gravity is also active here, which means you’ll jump higher, but also slower. Most are straightforward, but there was one that I was slightly perplexed by.

First Orbs of Water Puzzle Solution

For the first TotK Orbs of Water puzzle and the chest, all you need to do is ride the water bubble to the top. You can then use Ultrahand on the bubble to move it sideways. This will allow it to catch the chest as it’s falling. Bring it back to you to grab your reward.

Second Igoshon Shrine Puzzle Solution

The second Igoshon Shrine puzzle requires the use of the Recall ability. As the bubbles here are falling down, you’ll need to wait for one to get closer to Link, then pop Recall prior to riding it. You should be able to reach the upper walkway, where you’ll take another orb to reach the opposite ledge.

Third Puzzle Solution

As for the final TotK Orbs of Water puzzle, things can get tricky. The water bubbles move in a straight line, and they can’t reach the ledge where the exit is located. However, if you look to the side of the structure that creates those bubbles, you’ll notice a metal board. Use Ultrahand to rotate the metal board, and place it on the indentation on the floor. It should be angled slightly upward.

As the water bubble moves toward it, it will seem that the bubble flew all the way up. I was genuinely surprised when I first saw that, but all you have to do is ride the bubble and glide out of it once you’re close enough to the altar.

Once you’ve done the above, you’ll complete the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Orbs of Water puzzle for the Igoshon Shrine. This is but one of many Shrine challenges that you can complete in the game. For more tips and walkthroughs, visit our Zelda: TotK guides hub.
