Soryotanog Shrine Location
The Soryotanog Shrine can be found in the central portion of the Gerudo region. From the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, glide to the southwest until you reach the Kara Kara Bazaar (which has its own Shrine, too).
Then, continue southwest across the dunes until you spot another green glow in the distance. That’s the Soryotanog Shrine, which is at the top of the Gerudo Town palace complex. The coordinates are (-3881, -2961, 0123).

TotK Soryotanog Shrine Buried Light Puzzle Walkthrough
The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Soryotanog Shrine Buried Light puzzle has items covered by sand. Thankfully, you can use Zonai Fans to remove the sand piles.
First Buried Light Puzzle Solution
Use the fans on the sand pile in the first area, and you’ll find a Small Key that lets you open a door.
Second Buried Light Puzzle Solution
In the second section, you’ll notice another sand pile in the corner. Blow away the dust with a Fan to reveal a crawlspace. Go through it, then place a Fan pointing upward. You’ll be able to ride a current that takes you to a higher ledge. After blowing away the dust covering the large gear, you’ll be able to unlock a chest that has 10x Arrow.
Third Buried Light Puzzle Solution
Finally, the last two sections of the TotK Buried Light puzzle are separated by metal bars. There’s also a Construct here that you want to take out first. Here are the next steps:
- Use the Fan to remove sand piles. One will reveal a Mirror device, and another will activate a light beam.
- Place the Mirror on the beam itself, and rotate it so that the light goes through the bars and into the opposite room.
- Head to the other room and clear away the sand. There’s another Mirror here, and you can align it so that it hits the plate target.
Once the plate turns green, the door to the altar will open.
This completes the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Soryotanog Shrine Buried Light puzzle. Now you have another Light of Blessing and a new fast travel point. For more tips and walkthroughs, visit our Zelda: TotK guides hub.
