At PAX today, Bioware confirmed that there will be a 4th playable race in the upcoming title Dragon Age: Inquisition. The 4th playable race will be the Qunari, who were heavily featured in Dragon Age II. I am sure everyone remembers the original three races: Elves, Dwarves, and Humans
The Qunari are a very large beast-like race and most of them have horns on their heads. This is the first time we have been able to choose Qunari as a race, and it is also the first time we will see a Qunari female in the games. Both female and male Qunari will be playable. In the picture above you get a look at what the different classes will look like as a Qunari.
Being a Qunari will also open up new dialogue in the game, each race will have certain people react differently to them. In the last game there were very few NPCs who liked the Qunari, so I am guessing there will be a lot of difficult people if you decide to play as one. We also got the wonderful news today that the PC will be the lead platform; more games should focus on the PC.
The trailer today showed off some amazing looking gameplay, but it ended in a cliffhanger with the player face to face with a giant dragon. Dragon Age: Inquisition still has no set release date yet, all we know is sometime in late 2014.
