The silent assassin is back. Square Enix and IO Interactive have confirmed that the next Hitman title will be released March 11th, 2016. This release is several months away from the original December release date. Along with the game, a new “digital launch package” was detailed.

Once the game releases, this content pack will include the Paris, Sapienza, and Marrakesh locations, all together comprising six campaign missions. On top of that, user generated missions will be available, allowing players to designate new targets.

Hitman will be updated often after launch, as well. IO Interactive will release one new location per month in April, May and June, each with their own targets.

The Hitman series chronicles the life of Agent 47, a cold and calculating assassin who never misses his target. The newest game, simply titled Hitman, is the sixth game in the series and, as of now, does not seem to follow the story set up by the previous title Hitman: Absolution.

Hitman will hit its target on March 11th, 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
