World of Warcraft – Flyable Chimera Iron Skyreaver Mount

Check out World of Warcraft's new chimera mount.
This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

World of Warcraft players have wanted a chimera mount since the game’s start. The Warcraft 3 Night Elves’ Chimera unit was insanely powerful and powerfully cool. It’s no wonder why fans of the series are getting beyond excited for the newly leaked Iron Skyreaver mount.

The Iron Skyreaver is the first ever chimera mount in WoW. It uses the new wyvern model that was discussed at BlizzCon and it looks amazing.

How Do You Get the Iron Skyreaver?

The method of obtaining the Iron Skyreaver is currently unknown. Most sources for WoW news online speculate that it is not an in-game purchase. It could be a drop from a rare mob or a raid boss, an achievement mount, or something else entirely.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria: Collector’s Edition came with a mount and a pet. It’s my personal guess that this mount will be a part of the Warlords of Draenor: Collector’s Edition.

Overall, it’s safe to say that this mount will not be released until World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor comes out. I can’t wait.
