This announcement comes a week before E3, where we will hear more about what Xbox is up to on the software front.

The new console is an improvement on the Xbox One’s standard 500GB, and will also come with a matte finish.

The new controller makes a small, but welcome, addition in the form of 3.5mm stereo headset jack. This will allow you to plug your favorite gaming headset into your controller with ease.

Microsoft also announced that there will be an Xbox One Wireless Adapter, which will plug into your USB 2.0 or 3.0 port of any Windows 10 PCs, laptops, and even tablets, allowing you to wirelessly use an Xbox One controller. The adapter will be available for $24.99 or $79.95 bundled with an Xbox One controller.

The new 1TB console also means a permanent price reduction for all 500GB Xbox One systems to $349.

Will you be getting the new console? If so, what are you going to use all that new space for? Let us know in the comments below.
