4 things that need to be in Pokemon Go

With the Pokemon GO hype still going strong, people have been predicting features for the game.

Since the Pokemon GO press conference, hype for the new game has been strong. Many Tumblr users have even made their own fantasy scenario where they crash a wedding or break into Area 51 just to catch a rare Pokemon. With closed beta test coming in a few months, everyone is fantasizing about Pokemon GO. But did we ever stop to think how close this will be to the other Pokemon games? What if something’s missing?

So today I present to you: 4 things that need to be in Pokemon GO.

Nicknaming

What would Pokemon be without nicknaming? I’m more than sure that this feature will be in the game, along with Nintendo’s ban against inappropriate names. But it will be cool to see everyone’s uniquely named Pokemon.

Shiny Pokemon

This soon-to-be Pokemon-infested world can’t be complete without shinies. How amazing would this be: you’re just minding your own business, when all of a sudden your phone goes off telling that a shiny was nearby. That would be glorious.

Pokemon Interaction

It would be nice to have some sort of Pokemon Amie associated with Pokemon GO. It doesn’t need to be exactly like Amie, but it would be fun to pet and play with your Pokemon.

An easy way to obtain Pokeballs

Not much is known about the game, but it seems obvious that Great Balls, Ultra Balls, and so on will need to be purchased through microtransactions. But many fans are sure that there will be a way to obtain normal Poke Balls without needing to bust out your wallet. Maybe we can get some in-game currency from trainer battles or from catching Pokemon (for those who don’t live by people with the game).

Hopefully Nintendo has these things in mind already, but we’ll have to wait and see.
