Denmark is facing a blood shortage, and the country has found the perfect way to work things out. The Danish blood center GivBlod has formed a partnership with Sony for the upcoming PS4 exclusive.

The deal? The Danish population is encouraged to donate blood, and donors will receive a free copy of Bloodborne, or another PlayStation game, in return. In addition to that free game (and possibly a free meal), donors will be entered in a sweepstakes for a chance at winning a Bloodborne collector’s edition PS4.

The country is hoping to raise awareness about the lack of blood donors, and the initiative will make hospitals and gamers all over Denmark happy. The event will take place on Monday, March 23rd, but it is a Danish exclusive.

For those who are unable to go all the way to Denmark for this unique event, it is still possible to participate in the sweepstakes for the PS4 Bloodborne collector’s system. All you need to do is use #GivblodforBloodborne on social networks.

Bloodborne is a game developed by Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls creator From Software. This action role-playing game promises to have a lot of blood and gore and could be a nice challenge, even for the most hardcore of gamers. It is due to launch on March 24th in North America, and March 27th in the UK.
