It has been a whopping TEN years since the first ever Call of Duty hit the gaming world. Now with the upcoming title from Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Ghosts, FPS fans pretty much know they’re in for a treat. Call of Duty has been a staple in the FPS world since the very beginning and it revolutionized how First Person Shooters are made.
But one question has been floating in the minds of some fans. With recent victories for women on the real world battlefield, why hasn’t Call of Duty’s battlefield followed? Well, I think it’s pretty simple; women these days are more involved on the front line than ever before and there are players that want to play as women.
Now with Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer you have that option. The unique thing about Infinity Ward’s female characters is that the male and female soldiers wear the same gear and are the same size. Players can’t hide behind a women’s physique to be less of a target. Playing as a female in this game will be just that, no more no less, and that’s refreshing.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to release on November 5, 2013.
