The upcoming release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has given us news of several new Mega Pokemon. Today via scans of CoroCoro by Serebeii this trend continues with the announcment of Mega Gallade, Mega Sharpedo, and Mega Camerupt.

With Gardevoir getting a mega-upgrade in Pokemon X and Y, it was only a matter of time before Gallade powered-up.

Honestly, many of the cosmetic differeces between Gallade and Mega-Gallade are subtle unless you have the pictures side by side for comparison. Hopefully the boosted stats will make up for this mediocre image.

Mega Sharpedo however, does not dissappoint.

Sharpedo now looks as if he could take a hit or two (he probably still can’t) and the added color and rugged stripes make him look like a tricked-out submarine.

Lastly, my favorite of the group is Mega Camerupt. This is one of the only mega-evolutions that has made me wish the Pokemon could stay Mega forever…the other one is Mega Slowbro.

The two volcanic humps fuse into one giant volcano in this upgrade which has also given the Pokemon a fairly mischevious face. The image also makes me glad Pokemon aren’t real, because I would surely hurt myself trying to cuddle this amazing creature.

Unfortunately, until the official announcement of these mega forms, we won’t be able to tell you about special stats, abilities, or type changes. For now, admiring portraits must be enough. Or you could spend the time grabbing the free Heracross and Pinsir that Nintendo’s giving away right now
