An avid fan of the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout hopes to purchase the latest game in the series, Fallout 4, with none other than bottle caps.

Around 2,240 of them.

It’s taken superfan Seth a total of 7.5 years to accumulate the vast collection of bottlecaps, which serves as in-game currency in the Fallout universe, and weighs an impressive 11.2 lbs.

He began collecting when he started playing the games prequel, Fallout 3, and continued during his years completing an Undergraduate and then Master’s degree. Turns out being a student leads to a shedload of drinking. Who knew?!

Accompanying the unusual parcel was the following letter:

Seth, aka GatorMacheteJr, posted his plan on Imgur saying:

“I’m hoping if this post gets popular enough their PR department will be too nervous to turn me down.”

Whether the developer will accept the unusual offer, and exactly what it would do with over 2,000 bottle caps, remains to be seen.

This isn’t the first time an unconventional currency has been used in exchange for a game. Back in March, Danish blood center GivBlood offered free copies of Bloodborne in exchange for blood donations.
